James Eugene Carrey (lahir 17 Januari 1962)[1] adalah aktor, komedian, penulis, produser, dan artis Kanada-Amerika. Dikenal karena energiknya slapstick pertunjukan,[2] Carrey pertama kali mendapat pengakuan pada tahun 1990 setelah mendapatkan peran reguler di Amerika Komedi sketsa seri televisi In Living Color. Peran utama pertamanya dalam film datang bersama Ace Ventura: Pet Detective (1994), The Mask (1994), Dumb and Dumber (1994), dan Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls (1995), serta menggambarkan Riddler di Batman Forever (1995), dan peran utama dalam Liar Liar (1997).

Carrey menderita depresi[3] dan telah mengambil Fluoksetin untuk memerangi gejalanya. Dia telah menyatakan bahwa dia tidak lagi mengonsumsi obat atau stimulan apa pun, termasuk kopi.[3]
